**Watson Spirit Wear**
This spirit wear is mandatory for students in grades Kindergarten through Grade 5. ALL students are expected to be dressed in Spirit Wear EVERYDAY that they are in school. The only exception to this is if a student earns a dress down pass or if a class-wide or school- wide dress down day has been scheduled.
Watson’s Spirit Wear offers many choices. Short and long-sleeved T-shirts, short and long-sleeved polo shirts and crew neck sweatshirts and sweaters may be worn in navy blue, light blue or white. Hoodie sweatshirts are not part of Watson’s spirit wear.
Students may wear khaki, black or navy blue bottoms (no jeans or sweatpants), which include pants and appropriate length shorts, skirts or skorts. Students may wear sweatpants when they have PE class.
With regard to shoes, boots, and sneakers, student safety is our goal. While there is no restriction on color choice, students must wear sneakers or shoes that have a closed toe and heel (no sandals, Crocs, slides, or flip-flops) and be safe for physical education and outdoor play.
White and blue iron-on logos are available in the office to purchase for $.50 each for one logo.
It is the responsibility of the family/guardians of students in grades K-5 to ensure that students dress in accordance with these School Spirit Wear Guidelines. Research suggests that uniforms for all students cause fewer distractions, keep a focused on learning, and establish a safe environment at school. All FRPS K-8 schools have a spirit wear policy.

Watson Spirit Wear
T-shirts or polos- (long or short sleeves) Light blue, navy, or white.
Sweatshirts or sweaters- navy blue, light blue, or white.
Pants, capris, shorts, or skorts- Tan, navy blue, or black.
*ALL shirts and sweatshirts must have the Watson logo on them. Iron-on logos can be purchased in the school office for $.50 each.
*Skirts or jumpers (should have leggings or shorts worn as well), NO jeans
*On gym days, students may wear navy blue or black sweatpants.
* For safety reasons, students should wear sneakers each day. They will not be able to participate in many PE activities or be allowed on the playground with sandals or flip-flops.
