At Watson Elementary School, learners don’t just know content!

Our vision is that they become Empowered Learners, Effective Communicators, Inclusive Collaborators, Critical Thinkers and Innovative Designers to reach their highest potential.

Watson Elementary School’s mission is to develop curious, resilient, well-rounded, confident, responsible individuals by providing a sense of belonging and equitable access to:

Watson Spirit Wear (Uniform) Information

2025-2026 School Year Updated Arrival & Dismissal

Grade levels will enter in the following areas at 8:50 am & exit at 3:22 each day:

  • Grade K scholars will enter and exit school through the front door closest to Edgemond St.
  • Grade 1 scholars will enter and exit school through the front door with the ramp.
  • Grades 3 & 4 scholars will all enter and exit school through the right side door facing Edgemond St.
  • Grades 2 & 5 scholars will all enter and exit school through the left side door behind the ramp.

Grades 2-5 families can wait for their scholars in the back parking lot at dismissal time. Siblings will be dismissed from the back of the building by the gym door in the parking lot.

We are so excited to share that one of our Grade 6 teams from Morton Middle School was selected as the Winning Project for Investigating History at the 2026 One8 Applied Learning Showcase!

Students Cora Farias, Keliany Vieira, Michael Louime, and Sophia Santos presented their Unit 3 Summative project, “Ancient African Societies,” as part of their Investigating History curriculum under the guidance of Social Studies Instructional Coach Ms. Soklim Chhean.
